📌 The short version
We only collect what we need to run your business inside Trackr, your account details and the orders, clients and money you enter. We never sell your data. Your business information belongs to you, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
This Privacy Policy explains how PathForge Limited ("we", "us", "Trackr") collects and uses your information when you use the Trackr app. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act and the NDPC guidelines.
01Who we are
Trackr is a product of PathForge Limited, a company registered in Nigeria (RC 8502394). When you use Trackr, PathForge is the party responsible for your data.
02What we collect
We only collect information needed to give you the service:
- Account information, your name, email address, your phone number if you add one, business name and business type, so we can create and run your account.
- Business data you enter, the orders, customers, measurements, payments, expenses, stock, documents and notes you choose to record inside Trackr. This is your data; we simply store it for you.
- Photos you upload, such as a business photo, order photos, booking page photos and pages of your paper order book that you photograph during import, only when you choose to add them, so the app can show them back to you.
- Voice input, when you tap the microphone, your phone's browser sends the audio to its own speech service (on Android, Google's) and returns the words. Trackr receives only the text, never the audio, and does not store the audio.
- Notification registration, our notification service loads with the app. If you switch reminders on, your push token and your account id are linked to it so reminders can reach your phone. We remove that link when you sign out or delete your account, as long as your phone can reach the notification service at that moment.
- Usage analytics, which screens and features are used, recorded with an analytics identifier for your browser, on every visit.
- Crash reports, when something breaks, the error message, the page, your browser's user agent and your account id are sent to us so we can fix it, and the text of a new error message is also sent to our own phone as a notification.
- Payment information, when you subscribe on the web, payment is handled by our payment partner (Paystack). We do not see or store your card number or bank details, only whether a payment succeeded.
We do not collect your contacts or your location, and we never read anything from your phone that you do not enter or upload into Trackr yourself.
03How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Create your account and let you sign in.
- Store and show you the business records you enter.
- Process your subscription payments through our payment partner.
- Send you important service messages (like a payment receipt or a due-order reminder).
- Improve and fix the app.
We will never use your business data to compete with you, and we will never share your customer list with anyone.
04Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share information with service providers who help us run Trackr:
- Supabase, securely stores your account, your business data and your photos.
- Vercel, hosts the website and runs the small server functions behind it, such as the morning reminder and the crash reporting.
- Google Analytics, receives the usage analytics and the analytics identifier, and Google may use that data under its own terms.
- OneSignal, delivers notifications and holds your push token and, once you switch reminders on, your account id until you sign out or delete your account.
- Paystack, processes your subscription payment when you pay on the web.
These providers are only allowed to use your information to provide their service to us, except where this list says otherwise. We may also disclose information if required by Nigerian law.
05How we keep it safe
Your data is protected by encryption and strict access rules. Each account can only ever see its own data, one business owner can never see another's records. We use industry-standard security, though no system online can be promised to be perfect.
06Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and your data.
- Withdraw consent and stop using Trackr at any time.
To do any of these, just email us using the details below.
07Keeping your data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your business data from our active systems. Some records may be kept briefly where the law requires (for example, payment records).
08Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know inside the app. Continuing to use Trackr after a change means you accept the updated policy.
